Large, sturdy empire sofa, has been in my family since it was new. It has excellent bones, springs are in great shape. Needs TLC, including reupholstering (scratches in wood, bleaching and pilling in fabric, a small crack as seen in photos). Measures 82 long, 26 deep, 38 high at highest point. Back is not finished velvet, but rather gray canvas. Love this piece, but too big for my home. Best Pleated & Tufted Dark Burgundy English Leather Chesterfield Sofa Couch HUGE. Measures 93 wide x 40 deep x 30 tall. This is a classic, extremely comfortable, over-sized Chesterfield leather sofa. The sofa is made of the finest genuine top-grain leather and was made in England. The leather is a dark brown, burgundy, and not red as some photos may suggest with the flash. The back and arms are extra large and this is a much larger and more comfortable sofa than any Chesterfield we have ever had. The weight of the sofa is about 400 lbs and is much heavier than average as well. There simply is no more beautiful or comfortable vintage sofa like this online. This kind of sofa, with the pleating, the tufted bench seat, and the additional depth of the back and arms would retail for about 12000 or more today. Offered for sale is a Victorian settee sofa circa 1870. Made of solid walnut with burl accents, this is a very pretty sofa. There are a few small chips on the veneer accents, this is no detracting or unexpected. Covered in a dark teal(very Victorian) the fabric in excellent condition, there are a couple of spots that you need to look hard to see. I realize the sofa looks blue in the photos, it is not blue. Measurements: 45.5 inches tall 67 inches long 25 inches deep 15 inches seat to floor 45 lbs. This list of shippers will be listed below the description.
