Antique Victorian Wrought Iron & Brass Baby Crib, Daybed, Settee, Loveseat

This is a wonderful antique Victorian wrought iron baby crib with brass headboard accents dating from the early 1900s that can be converted into a settee, loveseat or small child-size daybed. It can also be used as a decorative crib for dolls. The front panel comes off and there is a wooden insert that sits over the base, along with a mattress on top. The mattress is new foam with a ticking fabric cover. We used a quilt and pillows to complete this settee but you could also put down couch cushions if you desire. This item is not recommended for use as a baby crib as it is antique and does not conform to current baby crib standards. Comes apart easily and is a great look! Pillows and blankets not included and are for illustration purposes only. Measurements: approx 47 long and 24.5 wide. Ends of the brass and iron headboards are 40 tall, the rest of crib is 38.5 tall. Overall in excellent condition and would look great as a vintage accent piece in any decor style! Please look at photos carefully and feel free to contact me with any questions. Thomas Lloyd design sofa is a traditional and elegant, giving style for any living room. They are handmade using traditional leather to create a high standard furniture. This sofa is not the exception as it shows you all the details already described. There is a slight discolouration on the side of the sofa (picture attached) and a few worn out marks on one of the cushion, but the sofa still has plenty of life on it. Please have a closer look at the pictures because they form part of the description. Antique and vintage/used items will show signs of wear which form part of their character. All our items are cleaned thoroughly, then a coat of wax is applied to revive the leather/wood and finally hand polished. Height 87/45 to seat. Deep seat area 58. Width seat area 102. We have a pair available of these wonderful vintage plaid sofas. These are 2 pieces exactly the same. They are very Kagan/ Baughman style but do not have any tags or way to identify them. Either way they are pretty rad and so comfortable. Dimensions 52W × 33.5D × 32H. Item Type Vintage, Antique or Pre-owned. Condition Good Condition, Original Condition Unaltered, Some Imperfections. A Carved Classical Mahogany Settee with Mounts and Brass Inlay on Dolphin Feet, Phildelphia, c. This settee is an absolute knockout. It is a tour de force of the Classical motifs of the day, handcarved and fully embellished. Starting from the top, note the beautiful carved scrollwork cresting a panel of crotch mahogany encased in brass and rosewood borders. The flanking cornucopia are beautifully expressed with fruit flowing over almost reminiscent of the Salem McIntyre school. The arms are wide scrolled of a mahogany that has an old historic surface underlying a current French polishing. All offerings are in fine condition with no major repairs or replacements unless otherwise indicated in description. Item must be insured in full.
