Vintage’Interior Crafts of Chicago’ Milo Baughman style retro sofa sectional. This is a 3-section modular sofa, very cozy and versatile. Upholstery is geometric-patterned, rust/copper and navy on channel-tufted seat cushions and back cushions. All cushions are removable and have zippered, removable covers. Maker’s mark reads: “Interior Crafts Chicago” on the underside of each of the 3 sections. May have been reupholstered as material is in very good condition. Minor flaws exist, as is to be expected with any vintage, antique or pre-owned item. Minor wear is on the under side (bottom) of sofa, shown in pictures. Total sectional measurements : 155″W x 34″D x 25H. There are two 60″ wide sections and one 35″ wide section (measurement from left to right), all sections are 34″ deep (front of sofa frame to the back of sofa frame) and 25″tall (from floor to top of sofa frame). Each of the 3 pieces can be used individually, and configured in several ways. Total width 155 with all 3 sections combined. Gorgeous vintage mid-century modern turquoise Lawson style 4 cushion sofa attributed to Milo Baughman for James Inc. Comprised of four loose zippered seat cushions, six tapered walnut legs, and turquoise hopsacking fabric with back button detail. This piece has been attributed based upon archived research including online sources, vintage documentation and catalogs, designer literature, and other materials. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The sofa deck has new fabric plus a new dust cover. It also has its original arm covers. We repaired a button with fabric found on bottom. It has been professionally shampooed. The foam in the cushions is soft, however it could use some more padding and new zippers. This beautiful 1970s sofa designed by Milo Baughman for Englander Triangle has a textured geometric patterned upholstery in muted yellow, green (pea or olive), sea green, tan, and cream, that appears to be original. The upholstery is in excellent condition with no stains, soiling, tears, wear spots, or damage of any kind. It comes with the original arm covers. The cushions are medium firmness, neither firm nor real soft. It’s designed with a flexible frame at front and back but springs themselves look and feel firm. Still it sinks too much for my comfort and may need either springs or cushions replaced to firm it up. Height to top of back cushions: 30. Height of seat: 17. Depth of base: 35.
