I have the matching armchair listed under my other items. This is a very good looking well made and comfortable sofa, the base is fully coil sprung using traditional Victorian techniques, the back legs are solid to the frame, the front solid oak cups which house the castors. We have lightly restored it to include a new hessian base cover which has been hand nail tacked in place using antique nails, new antiqued castors, the leather has been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished. The sofa has age related patina marks all over, it looks absolutely stunning from every angle. Width:- 205.5cm. Depth:- 90cm with the back to the wall to the front of the frame, 95cm to the front of the cushion. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland. French Rococo 1920′s Antique Carved Wingback Loveseat or Settee. A wingback loveseat or settee from the 1920′s was hand carved of solid beech in the Rococo manner, and comes from France. Cut European velvet upholstery with very little wear and a couple of spots has brass nailhead trim and is also in very fine condition. The original finish is very well preserved on this antique furniture, and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The frame is tight and strong, and springs on the deep seat are comfortable. Measurements are 54″ wide, 26″ deep, 41″ tall and the seat is 17″ high.
