This elegant couch has a French Deco design, it was made in the early 1900′s, it has carving on the frame, burl shape, veneer that has zebra design, and light stain finish to the wood. The fabric has wear, we recommend to re upholster the sofa, ask us about a re-upholstery quote, if you are interested. The condition of this sofa is secure and sturdy, there are aging imperfections/touch ups/scratches here and there proper to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures. This is a beautiful early 20th century Hitchcock Settee in beautiful coral and canary yellow. We believe the settee frame is walnut and shows beautiful joinery. Made by Hitchcock Furniture it is solid, sturdy with no signs of sagging or weakness. The signs of wear include 1 minor pull in the fabric of the cushion which could be rectified easily. There is some light marks on the cushion fabric from use however it appears these can be remedied by a good clean.
