This is a fantastic and ever so charming corbeille style canape. The beautifully carved and extremely delicate frame is masterfully naturalistic with life-like flowers carved into the crest of the canape and a gorgeous honed antique original finish. The charm doesn’t stop there as the former owner used a luxurious peacock feather patterned upholstery that still looks fresh and inviting today. The upholstery is in good condition but may show minor signs of age and use that don’t appear on camera. The frame is entirely original and in good condition. The settee dates to the 1920s era and is decidedly French. Dimensions: 39.75 inches high x 45.25 inches wide x 30 inches deep. Seat height 19.5. Height: 39.75 in (100.97 cm).
