Heywood Wakefield Hourglass Sofa Amazing, rare sculpted wood sofa by Heywood Wakefield. Fantastic Mid Century design features hourglass shaped wood elements on back. Solid wood frame is finished in a Cafe Walnut. Arms and back are upholstered in a nubby olive green fabric. Wide comfy seating with supple cushions and all support straps in good shape. Sits atop 8 wood peg legs. This looks great from every side! Heywood Wakefield stamp on bottom and original tag on one cushion. Measures 75″ long x 31.75″ deep x 24.5 tall. Seat stands 16.5 from the floor. In very good vintage condition for it’s age, 1950s. Seat cushions have fading and cat scratch wear to the two front corners.
