A rare variation of the bracket back sofa by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture company of Berne Indiana circa 1950s. This A-frame bracket is similar to the designs of Jens Risom, these legs were meant to be shown off by floating the sofa in a room. Neat button tufts along the back can either remain exposed or be covered with 4 pillows. Newly Recovered in a blush cotton velvet, which was old stock fabric from Vladimir Kagan’s archival lot of fabrics. Coil Springs with no sag straps. This sofa is built to last and read to go another 70 years. Dimensions: 32.5″ D x 90″W x 31.25″H SH 16″. Condition: New foam and fabric. Mahogany frame has original finish and shows some light wear commensurate with age and use. Overall shows very well.
