Incredible opportunity to own a 7-piece version of the vintage’playpen’ sofa from the 1960s/1970s. Low profile, modular sofa after essential mid century designer Milo Baughman for selig of monroe. Original coral velvet upholstery. This is a classic conversation pit style sofa, in excellent condition. Structurally sound, very well made with solid wood and steel framing. Heavy chair bases, with one large square cushion and one soft but supportive backrest cushion on each module. The corner pieces measure 27″t x 33″w x 33″d and the straight pieces are 27″t x 31″w x 33″d with a seat height is 16d. Bases are made of solid wood and steel, weighing around 55 lbs. Some wear as expected with age. Cushion foam in excellent condition, one seam separation on one of the seat cushions, easily fixed. Some staining in-between chairs, not readily visible.
