Please note that one (1) screw and one (1) lock washer have been replaced and are not original. They are a slightly different color.. But I promise I went to great lengths to ensure these replacement parts are EXACT matches. I cannot replicate 40 years of tarnishing. The seats and arms are mounted on a steel bar that runs along the bottom. Totally modular, expandable, reconfigurable. Please note that the upholstery is NOT a removable slipcover. We had great success both steam cleaning (this has the bizarre added benefit of replumping the foam), and using “Spot shot, ” a mild carpet stain cleaner, to remove any discolorations that came up from time to time. Well cared for and recently steam cleaned. All noticeable damage shown in photos in HARSH LIGHTING to emphasize flaws. These minor flaws are not noticeable in normal interior ambient lighting situations. It’s a 40 year old sofa. All parts have been wrapped in plastic to avoid damage to the fabric. Reassembly is extremely easy. Just a few screws with an Allen wrench. I will be available to assist remotely if you need help. I promise it is straightforward. Taking it apart and packaging each piece carefully is the best way to avoid damage to the sofa. This will avoid any issues potentially caused by it moving around and slicing or tearing the fabric. This is the safest way to ensure you get the sofa you paid for. Exact number of parcels is TBD but you should expect 3-5 boxes, each weighing around 25-30lbs.
