Antique duncan phyfe couch. The beautiful antique piece is sturdily constructed! At some point it has been partially re upholstered with a green/gold damask fabric. New springs and cushioning have been added. The back has a type of broadcloth that has been added, but no upholstery finishing has been done beyond that on the back. The seat is more shallow than modern furniture at only 18 at the dearest point. The back is approximately 16 at the tallest point from the seat.
