Description of item for sale. Renaissance revival sofa is made in the French hunting style that was popular in France during the late 1800′s. It is in very good antique condition, ready for use in your home. The beautiful, elaborately carved oak frame is solid and strong. The vivid red upholstery is in good antique condition with no discolorations or fading but it is a bit worn along the two center seams (photos). The springs and padding are as they should be and the sofa is comfortable with no lumps or sags. Of course the upholstery is not original-from the style of the underside we estimate it is 25 to 50 years old. Dimensions: 74″ wide, 41″ high and 27 deep (front to back). The seat height is 20.
