Condition: Excellent with only small signs of age related use, in the form of some light pressure marking. Description: An elegant Danish Art Deco 1940s 3 seat’Banana’ sofa. The sofa is upholstered in Beige coloured velour, with subtle contrasting braiding around the seat edges, seat and back rest. The profile of the sofa features a subtle curve, thus giving it the Banana name. Like the majority of Danish Art Deco seating from this era, the sofa is sprung underneath, and is raised upon a Beech wood frame. The sofa is also raised on four plain block Beech feet to each corner. All items are for sale elsewhere, so may be removed at any time.
