Louis XVI Antique Giltwood Carved Pair Boudoir Chairs Original Aubusson Fabric. Original Aubusson fabric helps date to early to mid 19th century. Finely carved back columns and rosebud finials. The bottom of legs have metal taps the chairs stand on. Condition: Needs some TLC. Chair one leg has a joint wobble and repair to top back rail. Chair two had old repair to strengthen chair legs (see dowels). Both chairs need to be examined and repaired before accepting any meaningful weight. Delicate early chairs of this type are getting very scarce for obvious reasons.
