Beautiful Antique 1920s Art Deco Lloyds Loom Wicker Sofa. This Vintage Sofa has pretty lines with a rare scalloped design and a graceful camelback. The original finish is in wonderful condition. It has a lovely lighter tint at the base which flows upward into rich rose-brown tones along the back and wraps around the shoulders and arms. This rare piece is in excellent condition. The finish is fantastic. Included in the photos you will see a hairline crack we found in underside edge of the hard wood by the upholstery. This does not influence the strength of the piece in anyway. A lovely 19th century Eastlake hand carved settee. Made from Walnut with a swooping ornate back featuring beautifully tufted gold, bonze and ivory Scalamandre upholstery. A curved gold velvet upholstered back. All upholstery is trimmed in silk braid. Bronze castors on the front for ease of movement – 1 castor missing and the leg is splintered. Beautiful Antique Parlor Set Loveseat Settee, Rocker & Chair 1920′s REDUCED

Beautiful Antique Settee Set – Loveseat, Rocker & Chair. I’ve owned this set for 40 years, but now it’s time to downsize. I was told the wood is cherry and the set dates to the 1920′s, but I’m not an expert. The set was reupholstered in 1994 to the fabric you see now. It’s fairly neutral and has the appearance of needlepoint when you look closely, even though it’s not. The backs are 36 high. The settee is 41″ across, and the chair and rocker are 21″ across. The wood has slightly split on the scrolled sides, at least one side on each piece, but the separation is clean and looks to be easily repaired. It’s really a beautiful set and comes from a non-smoking home. I’ve taken good care of it in the 40 years it’s been in my possession. You can see them somewhat in the photos already. Please ask for any additional photos prior to purchasing so you can be satisfied of the condition. 19th Century French Louis XVI Style Gray Painted Antique Daybed Sofa

READ ABOUT OUR GALLERY. FRENCH LOUIS XVI STYLE PAINTED DAYBED SOFA. Circa 1880 Item # 911TCZ24L. A fine daybed sofa in the Louis XVI taste from the last quarter of the 19th century, the form is beautifully balanced with a generous overstuffed seating frame flanked by raised chair-back panels. The proportions are perfect, the depth of the seat countering the height of the legs and giving proper weight versus the height of the panels so that it is visually substantial while aesthetically light and streamlined. A gadrooned molding caps either chair-back panel flanked by inverted corners capped with finials of draped acanthus. The entire frame is molded of the solid with recessed panels and raised framing, this originally gilded though much of it has worn away. A beautiful gray silk damask with a central floral display covers the piece, the generous seat deep and comfortable. The entire daybed is raised over ring-turned tapered and fluted legs in the traditional Louis XVI manner. Note the attractive depth of only 26 1/2, allowing the piece to be a part of the interior without overwhelming the room. For anyone passionate about the French aesthetic, this is a positively gorgeous acquisition. 32 7/8″ H x 63 3/8″ W x 26 1/2″ D x 15 1/4″ H to seat. Condition Report: Early paint with later inpainting and refreshing, much of the gilding worn away or oxidized. Joint separation at one chair-back corner. Upholstery in fair-to-good condition with minor stains/discolorations, overall remaining serviceable. Very comfortable and supportive. All joints are sturdy. Welcome to our shop!
