When reviewing fabrics to select for our limited edition Cascadia series of Chromcraft airport benches, our mind always drifts to the gorgeous array of fabrics from Pendleton. Pendleton fabrics have become near synonymous with Oregon, perfectly representing the diverse landscape our state is known for. This remarkable pattern draws inspiration from the high desert region of Oregon, and remains as durable as it is attractive. We’ve matched the bench with a luscious Sapele wood table, matching the oranges and reds of the Pendleton wool perfectly. Chrome and aluminum accents have been polished to a mirror shine, with optional wood armrests available. These benches were originally installed in PDX Airport in the early 1980s. Built by venerable mid century furniture maker, Chromcraft, these benches have a timeless style and durable construction built to stand the test of time. All the metal accents have been polished, and the hand selected seats have been thoroughly cleaned. Some minor nicks and wear may appear on the accents, but these are in excellent condition considering age and frequent use. Polished Aluminum and Chrome.
