An antique Victorian Chaise/Fainting Couch in excellent condition made by Martyn Brothers Furniture Company in Jamestown, NY. The wood is hand carved walnut according to my Grandfather, and it has been skillfully reupholstered. It is 76 inches long, 24.5 inches wide, and 36 inches tall. From History Never Repeats LLC, South Charleston, WV. 34 inches deep and 60 inches wide. Seat Height 17.5 A high quality sofa clearly in the style of Florence Knoll and likely produced between 1970 and 1980; American production possibly Stow Davis or Steelcase. Features seat cushions which attach to the seat with clips for a secure fit. Seat back cushions are also detachable. The cushions are tufted front to back both sides, with foam interior. All upon a wood plinth base with a red oak finish. The frame is in good condition and the fabric has been professionally cleaned and has no stains, save for two fabric pulls to the underside of the seat cushions and minor 1 pull to back right corner of sofa – see last photo. Does not require reupholstery but is priced with this in mind. This was likely produced for a commercial environment such as office, waiting or reception area but with appropriate fabric is suited for any use. A beautiful powder blue couch originally designed by Vladimir Kagan. Regardless, the classic curvy shape and beautiful chrome feet against the lovely blue suede upholstery makes this such an elegant sofa. The fabric is in very good to great condition. It could use a very light cleaning to make it spotless, but it’s really good to go. There is a tiny tear in the back of the sofa that is about 1/2″ – 1″ long just above one of the chrome feet, but you really have to search for this to even see it. I don’t see any reason to reupholster this unless you prefer a different color, because it is in such good condition. Dimensions: h 30″ x w 96″ x 40 d. I can give you the name of my shipper for a quote, but he is very busy, and it can take a month to get your item because of his schedule. You might want to try Uship as another alternative. The pictures dont do this set justice. Color is a light blue light beige background , and almost looks as if were embroiled with silver thread with a pale aqua or blue. Shows light wear/ discoloration- not bad at all!! Overall in really good condition- see last 3 photos. Most likely will come out when shampooed/ cleaned. 3 pieces- can use all together or piece out. That is up to you to make arrangements. Stands Approx 28 tall. How wide is going depend if your talking all together or each piece. One is 47 wide (left side). Center is 48 wide. Right side is 47. Up for consideration is a beautiful Hickory White camel back sofa and chair. A stately accommodation in its traditional styling with rolled arms and cherry turned arrow feet with casters. Upholstered in a new age turquoise toile silk blend fabric with nail head trim. Chair has corduroy along the back. Very Good, Light fraying front left corner of sofa.
