Seems to be in good order throughout, there is slight wear on the arms, difficult to picture as its faint, the fabric generally is in good order, thin in places, a small rip in one corner if you push down on the seat base hard, the gold leaf paint is in tack and has some light chipping, structurally the sofa is perfect. A splendid Empire period solid mahogany sofa from the 1820′s was hand carved with lion paw feet, cornucopia or “horn of plenty” arms and eagle wing motifs. Newly upholstered, there are authentic bolster pillows as well. The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Reglued to serve another generation, the frame is tight and strong. The deep seat is comfortable, the back is firm. Measurements are 65″ long, 25″ deep, 35″ tall and the seat is 18″ high. Cased solid Walnut mid century modern Sofa attributed to Dunbar. This Sofa was recovered in the 80s and barely used since then. The fabric is a cotton wool blend and is very sturdy and has a long life ahead of it. This sofa comes with a matching lounge chair in the same fabric and style. Built circa 1968 and has been kept clean and well kept since. Extremely high quality piece in a classic timeless style. Plays well in any space. Measures: 84 W x 35.5 D x 27 H Condition report: Beautiful condition within the fabric and the wood. The straps may need replacing as the cushions slouch just slightly.
