Superb chrome cube loveseat by Milo Baughman c1960′s. Squared seat with loose cushions and inward folding sides, upholstered in original striped velour, floats within an architectural chromed steel frame. The chrome is shiny and shows minimal wear, mainly some faint surface scratches. Fabric and foam are in decent shape, there is one tear on seat cushion in back corner that does not show with back pillow on, some fading to the back, a few minor stains here and there. Priced to reflect need for new upholstery or use as-is with vintage appeal. This a beautiful hand-carved full-size Victorian-style sofa. The upholstery is ivory with a lovely flower print. Upholstery is in perfect condition. This piece features beautifully hand-carved scroll work in the walnut wood along the arms of the couch as well as a hand-carved floral pattern along the top of the couch back. There are some scuffs the the feet and very few to scroll work on the front of the arms (pictured). Offered for your consideration is a wonderful American Victorian/Eastlake Style settee with matching side chair. Both of the settee and the side chair feature cushioned blue velvet upholstery, geometric relief carvings with inlaid burled walnut panels, and turned and tapered baluster legs. Both pieces have been seeing by a restorer at some point in their history. The cornice of the settee displays an urn style floral design framed by burled walnut insets and thick scrolls. Ogee edged corner fan molding frames the velvet cushioned seat backs, while the gently curving button tufted armrests are lined with both silky braided ribbons and serpentine trim. The walnut frame beneath the upholstered armrests features rectangular patterned relief carving, and the same modified Greek key with carved tassel accents centerpiece design that is found on the cornice of the side chair. The settee measures 39 3/4″ high, 56″ wide, and 23 deep. The side chair measures 37 1/2″ high, 19″ wide, and 18 deep. Please call or message with your zipcode. Item code: 082015 SB.
