Mid century modern blue crushed velvet sectional couch. Wood base incredibly preserved, as is the blue crushed velvet. Blue crushed velvet is even tone overall, it just appears lighter in the photos but it is overall a darker blue. I dont know anything about the brand, origins or maker of this sectional. Please message me for information on that. Measures: first piece (longest) measures approx 72 by 48 inches, the second piece approx 54 by 33 inches. These are rough estimates. I will update with more accurate measurements next week but this should be within an inch or so give or take. Please send any questions to me. Please make sure you have read the full listing. One button missing, tiny scuff on edge that honestly looks better in person than in the photo. Absolutely beautiful settee they don’t make them like this anymore! Bought a bought 50 years ago from an antique store in Beverly Hills California. Store owner explained that it had been acquired at an state sale in Pennsylvania. Mid Century Modern LOVESEAT vintage Jack Lenor Larsen couch sofa cloth black 60s. Vintage Mid Century Modern Loveseat. Original upholstery attributed to Jack Lenor Larsen. Black, golds and browns. Cushions are soft and not as firm as they once were. Blue upholstery is thinning and in poor shape. Frame measures approx 27″ tall x 56″ long x 33 deep. Seat height is 17 from the ground. Cushion/seating area measures 48″ wide x 25″ deep. Frame is structurally in excellent condition. Wood feet have light scratches and chips (these stay hidden under the flaps). Cushions and upholstery are overall in excellent condition. Foam is strong and cloth is not thinning. There is on red stain on the inside of one arm (under cushion; likely from a red ink pen). There is a small glue like stain on one cushion. The lower flap on the backside has some wearing down/tears. Has some water staining on very bottom underneath. Cushions and pillows are made of high density foam and are heavy. Dates back to the 50s/60s. Saving American History LLC scours the East Coast to find vintage rarities and antique oddities. Offered here is a wonderful ornately hand carved, curved, and beautifully upholstered Art Nouveau sofa. This upscale sofa has a feather and down single cushion. Which has attached clasps to hold it securely in place. The wood trim is skillfully carved and polished. The sofa has 7 legs. The measurements are: 84″ long, 34″ deep and 37 high. The seat is 24″ deep and about 21″ high. This is an accommodating sofa, not a shallow one, and is very comfortable thanks to the feather cushion. The heavy tapestry upholstery is a deep teal blue and olive green. The actual colors are a bit darker than the photographs portray. There are some very slight pulls on the upper back of the sofa, which only show easily in strong light. Please observe the third photograph. Otherwise, the upholstery is pristine, showing no rips, tears, stains or odors. This is a very clean, sturdy sofa. Please keep in mind that this item is over 100 years old, so not perfect. But it is in excellent antique condition and very stylish, strong and comfortable. Both pieces show signs of wear in various locations but given it’s age I think it’s in good condition overall. The fringe is in good condition and gives it a unique look. The wooden feet have wear but are mostly covered by the fringe. A lot of the wear is in the higher traffic areas like the arms etc. The couch is approximately 81″, 35″ , 33 (LWH). The chair is approximately 42″, 35″, 33 (LWH). This is a pretty cool set of furniture that would fit really well into a nice retro setting. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
