Description: This beautiful sofa features rolled arms with classic camel back sitting on top of three mahogany carved cabriole legs with bellflower carved knees terminating in claw and ball feet. Sofa is upholstered in beautiful floral chintz fabric. Comes with 4 matching throw pillows. Southwood, made in North Carolina, specialized in high end 18th century reproductions and their furniture was found in high end furniture stores. Also Southwood was known for its high end fabrics. Condition Report: Good condition with some light scuffs and scratches as expected with usage, fabric in very good condition. Measurements: 36″ H X 83″ W X 30 D. This set has fresh upholstery in a beautiful creamy white with floral pattern. There are 6 throw pillows in coordinating fabrics. The seat cushions are reversible and they have zippers on the back for easy cleaning. There are armrest covers to protect the fabric on the arms as well. The wood trim on both pieces looks like dark walnut and is very ornately carved. The crest rail is crowned with beautiful scrollwork. The seat rail is ornately carved as well and the feet are pad style. There are some nicks and scuffs in the wood typical of furniture this old. Overall both pieces are in great condition. I do not know the maker or exact date this set was made. This sofa and chair are antique and will not be perfect. The sofa measures 35 ½ inches tall, 80 inches side to side and 33 inches front to back. It weighs 142 pounds. The chair measures 36 ½ inches tall, 34 ¼ inches side to side and 31½ inches front to back. We strive to handle good quality antiques and a large variety of merchandise. To 5:00 p.
