This is an exceptional Eastlake style settee / loveseat that I believe belonged to my great- or great-great grandmother. I inherited this from my grandmother in 1977, but I recall she said she inherited it from a grandmother. This is from the East Coast and was probably originally from New York. The settee has a champagne rose brocade upholstery that I understand was reupholstered in the 1920′s or 1930′s, maybe as late as the 1940′s. It measures 55″ wide as the widest part, and 40″ high at the highest point, the seat is 20″ deep and 16″ high. This features casters that I believe are porcelain. It is in very good condition and basically stored since 1977. There is a dark spot on the left front lower part of the wood, and I included a closeup of it.
