French Aubusson Louis XV Style Settee from the second half of the 19th century, with upholstered needlework cushions and nailhead details. Gilt gesso on hand-carved wood frame. Needlework scenes comprise idyllic landscapes with figures, and cockerel. Some scattered chipping to original gilt, age related soiling to cushions and some damp staining. The cushions remain comfortable and supportive. Tear to cover on reverse side. There is slight separations at each joints but the furniture remains overall stable.
