This is a large 7 foot sofa. This sofa is mid century and hand-crafted by masters in England. This Kensington Tufted Chesterfield Sofa is stuffed with horsehair. Many believe the first tufted leather comfortable couch was designed in teh 18th century by the fourth Earl of Chesterfield. A Chesterfield couch anywhere is known as top of the line. The back and arms show wear. There was a small rip on the back and left side that has been repaired (see pics) and the upper leather portion has a couple of tears (Not repaired). The seat was professionally re-upholstered and repairs made in 2005 at an estimated cost of around 800-900 dollars. One button is missing, but I have 3 or 4 left over from the re-upholster job that I will throw in. Rollers have been affixed to the feet for easy movement.
