Width – 85″ Depth – 36″ Height – 35. Made in England, circa 1980. Minor wear here and there. This vintage oxblood leather four seat chesterfield sofa was made in England around 1980. Recently, this chesterfield was professionally cleaned in England bringing back the leathers original color and luster and re-stuffing the seat cushions. The sofa itself offers ample room for four individuals or the occasional nap. The seating area measures 67 wide x 22 deep. This chesterfields sea of interchanging reds, dark reds, and blacks give it a very distinct and classy look. Also the tufted leather pattern adds to the classic English look. The frame of this sofa is sturdy and sits on four mahogany bun feet that add to the strong feel of this piece. Added touches of detail in this couch are the tufted base along the front and the wide arm rests. The quality leather that was used to create such a beautiful sofa has been semi-aniline dyed to produce a deep, rich rust color. Having had time to age, the leather has developed into a soft, comfortable seat. Normal wrinkling / creasing is present and gives the proper amount of desired worn look. There is some slight wear in spots here and there in the form of very tiny marks. These small scuffs are found primarily on the back, base, and front of one cushion. Overall though the condition is very good and the sofa should provide many years of comfortable lounging. The seat height measures 18 and the arm rests are 22 from the floor. Here is the back which looks good enough to show if you don’t want to put the piece up against a wall. A stunning leather sofa! A lovely view from the sides. The recently re-stuffed cushions are like new! Mahogany bun feet go well with the overall style of the piece. The red leather has a marvelous color and is quite soft.
