Natural leather / tan leather sofa by Danish maker Georg Thams. The piece itself is in great shape. The leather is extremely thick and high quality and after much abuse didn’t sustain much damage other than general discoloration. The leather cushions sit within the solid wood frame. The back cushions are filled with down feathers. Great place to hang out. Plenty of life left in this piece. Condition report: Good condition structurally. Leather is holding up well but has staining and wear. General color variation throughout. This beautiful and well made sofa combined with the soft brown leather and suede on the side and back of the frame, is perfect for any living room. The filling on the seat is still very puffy, so they still have much life on them. The leather has marks that are presented on the pictures but nothing serious to point out. Please have a closer look at the pictures because they form part of the description. Antique and vintage/used items will show signs of wear which form part of their character. All our items are cleaned thoroughly, then a coat of wax is applied to revive the leather/wood and finally hand polished. Height 74/42 to seat. Width seat area 180. Depth seat area 51,5. Condition: Very Good with signs of age and use, in the form of surface scuffs and scratches around the arms and to some of the cushions, as well as some colour variations to the Leather from age. Description: A stylish Danish 1970s three seat sofa, designed by Georg Thams and produced by. The sofa features eight plump and removable cushions, with the addition of a pair of side cushion bolsters for added comfort. The whole piece is raised upon a Beech wood frame with four stained block Beech feet to each corner. The manufacturers label can also be found to the underside of the cushions.
