This is an exceptional Mah Jong modular, or sectional, sofa in clean original condition. This was designed by Hans Hopfer and created by Roche Bobois in the 1970′s. Most of the pieces retain the vintage Roche Bobois labels as pictured. This sofa was well taken care of. It is spotlessly clean and almost as new. The velvet is hard to photograph in the outside light. Velvet gives a different sheen from different angles in sunlight. It is a quite uniform blue as pictured. There are 4 corner, and 2 straight, back pieces. These allow you to make several different configurations. Each square is 38 x 38 inches. The back is 26 high and the seat is 15 high with doubled cushions underneath.
