Old repairs to two cushions- cushions are each capable of zipping apart- so replacement would be an easy option. This was designed specifically for naps. Boy howdy it is perfect for them. The early buyers get their choice of grain patterns and lighter versus darker teak and walnut woods. These were from Herman Miller’s 1984 Eames Sofa pre-production run for marketing, design, engineering, and manufacturing evaluation and have been in storage since 1984. There are teak wood and walnut wood parts in excellent unused (like new) condition. I have both the upper 6 1/2″ wide and the lower 10 1/4″ wide parts. I also have a pair of stained parts for half the price. The pictures of the entire sofa are for reference only so you can see where these parts are used on the sofas. Herman Miller Eames Three Person Sofa. The sofa was manufactured on 1-25-17, is in excellent, Like New condition, has been well cared for and shows minimal wear consistent to its age and use. The “Mildew All-Grain Leather” is a premium leather that is dark green almost black in appearance. I have included a color swatch of black leather for comparison in one of the photos. All-Grain Leather is designed to be very durable and show minimal ware, cracks, scratches, etc compared to the standard leather option. The frame and back panels are constructed of rich solid walnut. Legs and arm supports are made of die-cast aluminum polished to a bright finish. And plush foam cushions come upholstered in leather, with undersides covered in nylon for good ventilation, supported by resilient webbing for added comfort. This is an amazing ca. 1880 carved rosewood three piece sofa set probably by Charles Tisch or Herter brothers carved in the aesthetic movement style. It’s the best. All solid rosewood hand carved super dense and heavy in a beautiful original finish. If you are looking for an aesthetic movement set this is a great custom set and the best of the period. Sofa Measures 60″ long by 40″ high. Upholstery looks to be very old if not original. Could be reupholstered but I would leave it just as it is. All solid and ready to use in your home. Just the way you want to find them. If you are doing a period room furnishings like this are a must. Don’t let this one get away.
