Danish Modern Black Leather Sofa Designed By Fredrik Kayser for Vante Mobler of Scandinavia. If you are serious about an item I would suggest making an offer or contacting me to discuss it. Voice / Tx 571 330 0810. “Always happy to entertain offers”. This is a very hard to find and exceptionally well crafted three seat sofa designed by Fredrik A. Kayser for Vatne Mobler. I recently picked up a full suite of. Fredrik Kayser black leather furnishings that includes this sofa, two high back lounge chairs + ottomans and one low back lounge chair. ALL IN WONDEFULL CONDITION!! This hard to find and exceptionally well maintained sofa. All the pieces in this suite are in wonderful condition with no holes, rips, cracks, tears (see all photos) or damage. While this is a vintage item, it in surprisingly nice condition. As stated this sofa is in surprisingly nice condition with only one issue to note. The center cushion has one difficult to see “cut” that is about four inches long. It seems the cut was. Repaired I had the sofa in my home for nearly a year before I noticed it. Creases and wrinkles do a good job of. The cut and from many angles and light conditions it is not. I have done a close up photo with direct light so that you can see the repaired cut. If you would like to discuss feel free to. All pieces are constructed to very high standards and the legs / Base on all pieces are made of welded metal parts that are then covered with Teak. This process offers the appearance of wood with the strength and durability of metal. Each piece in the suite are rock solid with supple soft leather and original down filled cushions. “MINERVA” TEAK SOFA BY PETER HVIDT AND ORLA MOLGAARD-NIELSEN. John Stuart label retained to the underside; in original upholstery Item # 109PZH29Q. A wonderful sofa from Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen’s “Minerva” collection, this form is actually rather uncommon with the integral side-table on the left. It can be transitioned into a daybed by removing the triangular back, the chromed bars easily removing from the frame. As is typical of their designs, the sofa is of the highest quality with fine metal work, wonderful molded surfaces crafted entirely from solid teak and great attention shown to comfort throughout. The sofa retains all original strapping, this still supportive and in overall very good condition. As with all of our pieces, the sofa frame and all metalwork has been fully reconditioned and is in very good overall condition. The upholstery is original and still serviceable. Measurements: 86 1/2″ W x 32″ H x 30 D; approx. 16 H to seat. Condition Report: Original upholstery in overall good condition, some loose threads with light color variation and minor fading; the upholstery remains comfortable and serviceable. All joints sturdy and firm. Chrome in good condition with only minor oxidization. All elements polished, re-oiled and remaining in very good condition. Welcome to our shop!
