Check out this 7′ long (34 to 36″ tall by 36″ deep) custom Lillian August mid 2000′s classic style leather sofa with lots of vintage character. It feels like you are sitting in a classic restaurant booth or club as it’s outlined in those beautiful antique brass upholstery nails along it’s tufted edges. Leather is seamed with topstitching on the side panels to add interest and the detail is amazing. Just the right amount of vintage feel without overpowering anything else. Very “clubby” and solid with it’s high cozy side bolsters which are great as a leaning surface for pillows and lie down or watch tv. Great depth and support and sits at 18″ which is perfect, total depth is 36″ so the seating depth is slightly less and with pillows works perfectly. Superb patina and gradient black color to the leather. So you sense the grain visually. Scuffs are mostly on the back and sides, but are minor and can be minimized even more with black leather cream if desired. I like the soft sense of wear so I left it. A perfect background for any type of vintage or ornamental pillows (decorative pillows shown not included, just for inspiration in context).
