We are offering for your consideration this elegant filtwood antique pair of fauteuils. Either French or Italian, probably dating from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. These extraordinary chairs feature finely hand-carved details and a classic damask fabric that is in good condition with some fading. The back fabric is torn and it appears that some of the filling is missing. Some gold loss to the finish which has been lightly restored. Also one of the rosettes is missing on one of the legs.
