Empire Antique 1830 Flame Mahogany Sofa, Velvet Stripe Upholstery #32899. An Empire period sofa from the 1830′s is solid mahogany with matched flame grain panels. Older upholstery includes round bolster pillows, and has very little wear but there is sun fading, see photos. The older restored finish is in very fine condition, preserving numerous edge losses and shrinkage separations from age, see photos. American made antique furniture from the East Coast, the frame is strong and tight and the seat is comfortable. Measurements are 87″ long, 27″ deep, 32″ tall and the seat is 18″ high.
