Rare Duncan Phyfe Style Convertible Sofa Bed. Made in Mebane North Carolina, circa Jan. 14, 1941 by Mebane-Royall. Very comfortable with cotton sisal and inner springs. Sofa is 92″ long x 36″ deep. Back folds down to make a double bed 92″x 72″. This sofa is part of an estate and not used since the 1980s. Good condition for age (nearly 79 years old). Matching covers for arm rests. With covers removed there is noticeable fading of the fabric (see pictures). Could use a good cleaning. Most of the items we list are previously owned and are vintage or antiques.
