Victorian Late 1800s Mahogany Hand Carved Loveseat Settee Sofa Couch 1048. This highly elegant Love Seat or Settee is made of wood, solid wood, mahogany wood, and fabric, and is in good condition. This beautiful settee or small sofa was made in the Late 1800′s, and it is an exquisite example of Victorian era furniture; it features a beautiful silhouette, brilliantly hand carved details decorating the frame, and a lovely red/brown mahogany finish to the wood that all harmonize to make a great Victorian style love seat. We would recommend to have the fabric professionally cleaned or re-upholstered, please ask us for a quote on re-upholstery if you are interested. There were some professional repairs made to the settee over the years, see pictures, however this does not detract from the great beauty or utility of the love seat, it is strong and ready for everyday use. The condition of this settee is secure and sturdy, there are some aging imperfections/scratches/touch ups due to its age and as part of its wear and tear, see pictures.
