An elegant suite of fine form and upholstery. The whole displays a desirable aged patina. Generous beech frame with fine grain interest. Rich caramel hues complement the light, golden cloth. Traditionally stuffed with cloth in excellent condition – recently professionally upholstered. Generous seating heights of 50cm (19.75) to the sofa and chair. Top rail decorated with central carved detail. Seat-back finished with cane-work in superb, taut, undamaged condition. Broad, generous arms finished with further cane and rolled tops for comfort. Gently curving frame cossets the deep, inviting cushions. Upholstered base with piped edge delineating the lower apron, with central shell motif. Standing upon squat cabriole legs to the front, and square section legs at the rear. This is an appealing antique bergere suite, perfect for the living room, summer house or conservatory.
