We are thrilled to offer for sale this gorgeous American Empire sofa circa 1840. A round crest-rail features carves leaves at each end. The center of each arm is beautiful feathered mahogany. The arm supports are also beautifully carved. Large paw feet support the sofa front and back. The fabric is in excellent condition with no spots, rips or holes. The sofa itself is solid and sturdy. One back foot has a repair which appears to be solid(photo 3)there always seems to be an apology with this stuff.
