Description: Kittinger Colonial Williamsburg Reserve collection Mahogany Chippendale Sofa CW 23 With Chinese fretwork. In the late 18th century Oriental motifs were very popular, the front legs of this Chippendale style sofa reflect that popularity. Featuring hand carved Chinese fretwork designs on the mahogany legs and mahogany stretchers running between the legs, flowing lines in back and arms of the upper sofa. Copied from an English Chippendale George III sofa c. 1770 found in the Colonial Williamsburg collection. Sofa has squirted Florial fabric. Condition Report: Good condition with some scuffs, chips and scratches as expected with usage. Fabric has some wear and stains, but usable. Measurements: 35.5″ H x 73″ W x 31.5″ D arm height 30″. Items are pre-owned and will show the usual signs of scuffs, scratches, wear and use. Upholstered items may have wear, tears and stains associated with usage.
