This is a Graceful antique Love Seat with restrained tastefully carved details that are elegant and not overly ornate like some “Victorian” style pieces. It’s sexy curves on the back, front and arms make it so charming. I think it is probably from the 1880′s to early 1900′s. It is stuffed with horse hair and has springs in the seat cushion. It is upholstered in a cream color cotton/wool fabric with wool crewel embroidery. The fabric has some discoloration and some stains, this is how it was when I got it, I did not re-upholstered it. When I first got it I used it as a piece in the bedroom and covered the seat with stuffed animals. It’s around 100 years old now and needs a loving new home to add vintage charm to. This would be nice used in a bedroom or living room. Looks cute as a display piece for stuffed animals or dolls or drape a pretty throw over the seat.
