The tulip fabric is a much more intense red than my photos show. Very limited or no sunshine to this daybed has kept the fabric from fading, except in small areas of wear. We bought this at an estate sale in which the collector had mainly mid 19th century French furniture, so assuming it is also French. There are no Mfr. Marks or identifying features on this. Even the mattress is completely sewn inside and cannot be removed/identified. Green paint is crackling and could use a re-painting. This daybed is very solid structurally and is quite heavy. It disassembles quickly into 4 main pieces by removing just 6 bolts. I can help with removal, currently located in Hingham, Mass.
