Matching chair and couch with wonderful wood detail and a simply delightful re-upholstered green/yellow fabric. The cushions are in near-perfect condition because it was re-done about 7 years ago and has sat in storage ever since. The finish looks to be mostly intact though there is what looks to be furniture paste wax that could be cleaned and buffed and/or re-applied so that is just elbow-grease. I just pulled the couch out of storage and added those pictures and here are some updates. There are some chips and dings on the top back of the frame of the couch as shown in the pictures. Also, it does look like that milky residue on parts of the wood might be old wax. There are places where a dry paint brush or a fingernail flaked off the “milky” part leaving the finish underneath. Also, I did see in the couch cushions that there are some loose threads from the edges of the fabric (see pic) but it looks like it’s just from new fabric. The stitching / seams on the cushions are intact. Even though we have had the furniture for several years, it has sat in storage in our basement the whole time and had been reupholstered just before we got them so they are old but unused.
