Beautiful natural woven wicker settee. Measures 54″ w x 32″ h x 36d. Possibly by wickerworks 1980. Quite beefy construction with beautifully organic shaped arms and curved front below seat. Excellent original condition just acquired from a prominent & meticulous smoke and pet free estate. Matching lounge chair and coffee table also available if a set is desired. Ready for the finest interior.

Originally covered with a floral chintz fabric it had pillows stuffed with goose down. When we had it reupholstered in 1985 the fabric became an off white cotton or linen and the pillows were stuffed with foam rubber. The reupholstering was done with great skill and attention to detail. It is 54 inches long and 26 inches wide. The other measurements are 29 inches wide at the arm rests, and 25 inches across the top of the backrest. The chaise has spent its life in a lady’s bedroom and has been ideal for stretching out and reading or taking little catnaps. In our new home there won’t be room for the lovely piece and we hope it will find a new home where it will be appreciated and enjoyed for many years to come. Extraordinary wicker sofa vintage in the manner of Michael Taylor. It has been newly recovered in creamy white cotton canvas. It is in fabulous condition and ready to use. Note: We are also listing separately matching tables in case you want a matching set. We are in love with this gorgeous sofa! We feel it is done in the manner of designer Michael Taylor but there is no marking and we have not had success identifying the maker. Its construction is solid and of very high quality. We have had it newly covered in an awesome creamy white heavy cotton canvas. The shape of the wicker gives it a fabulous sleigh-bed day-bed look; that combined with its tight rounded back and upholstered flared arms give it a somewhat Hollywood Regency flavor.
