Stunning vintage Spanish Revival sofa with velvety gold textured fabric, a dark stained wood frame with turned spindle sides, dark brass details, round tapered wood back legs & front brass ball casters. We have a wonderful Spanish Revival sofa comprised of a sultry dark stained wood frame with lovely dark toned brass details and features turned spindles which construct a beautiful Spanish arch design on both sides. It wears its original gorgeous textured velvety feeling gold brocade or damask style fabric on the top of the arms, the entire base of the sofa, and on the three-poly filled loose seat and back cushions, which also have zippers. This mid century Spanish revival style sofa features vintage green upholstery, removable cushions, tufted arms & seat back, solid wood sides with beautiful hand carved detailing, and an upholstered back. Dimensions: 102w 33d 29h 17sh. Condition: The vintage upholstery has no holes but shows signs of significant wear. There is a patch of discoloration / staining on the right arm rest (see photo). Some padding left in them but could use a fresh set of foam in order to be used regularly. The carved wood detailing has some scuffs and scratches. There is one bit of damage on the back left side where it appears to have taken a bump and the fabric has ripped / chipped away from the frame. It is able to be reattached and is purely cosmetic not structural. Please inspect photos carefully and understand that this 60+ years old and in original condition. Deep steam cleaning might remove surface stains but reupholstery is recommended.

The seat cushion photographed darker than it actually is in some of the photos. It’s missing one button on the seat cushion, but there are more buttons on the bottom side of the cushion that you could use if you wanted to replace it. There are some light scratches on the wood in a few places that are shown up close in the photos. There are some very small areas of discoloration that are not noticable from a distance that are from normal wear throughout the years. Gold color velvet fabric upholstered back, seat & back cushions and armrest cushions. Seat & back cushions are reversable and armrest cushions are removable. Made in North Carolina, USA, in the mid 20th Century. Overall: 88.5w 32.5d 32.25h, Seat: 84.25w 20d 18.5h, Arms: 28.75h. Very good vintage condition with signs of use. Antique Carved Spanish Couch and Chair. The couch has mohair upholstery, but the chair has been reupholstered. There is some sign of wear consistent with age. The couch has a faded area on one of the arms. The chair has a loose finial, that has no effect visually or asthetically. Stunning set in excellent condition for being 100 years old…..
