This rare early 20th Century Antique Country French Provincial Settee is constructed of a solid carved wood frame and is distressed in a beautiful whitewashed finish revealing the natural wood. It features a gracefully scalloped camelback top rail conjoined with a center stile and carved hearts on the back of a half-caned window seat, scrolled cane accented arms and lovely carved scalloped apron terminating in elegant cabriole legs and a rushed seat. The sette is fully finished so it will float. The attention to detail and casual sophistication of this charming bench will create a stunning focal point in an entryway, hallway, bedroom, or in a sunroom and is quite the piece for the discerning collector. Measures 47″W x 32″H x 26D (depth is measured from top back of seat to front of cabriole legs). Excellent Vintage Condition commensurate with age.
