Very fine, high-end Renaissance Revival parlor set. This lovely, American three-piece parlor set, is walnut and burled walnut, with incised, gilded and ebonized decorations. Each piece of this set features the luxury detail of a round, hand-painted porcelain plaque with a bouquet of wildflowers as part of their center crests. The three frames are all original with no restorations, repairs or significant losses to the original finish. The two large armchairs and love seat are all comfortable and sturdy. This set is fresh from a fine Brooklyn brownstone and was recently upholstered by the last owners in fine fabric with costly details. Both the quality and condition of this Victorian suite of furniture make it a rare find. Sofa 65″ long x 32″ deep x 43″ tall, chairs 27 1/2″ wide x 27″ deep x 40″ tall. This is simply a fantastic example of renaissance revival victorian furniture from approx 1870 62 inches wide 47 inches tall just stunning! The fabric which almost seems like some sort of silk (not sure what it is) is stunning, could use some cleaning maybe dirty in a couple spots no rips or tears, the frame is well carved simply wonderful work and original surface with great patina just he way you like it and wanna find it!

This antique sofa has been reupholstered nicely in an attractive button and pleated upholstery. Featuring a double chair back, there is also a wonderful drape molded carving with oval walnut trim in the center. It has turned legs, and the overall size is 68 inches at the widest point, 26 inches deep from the front to the back, 44 inches high to the highest point.
