Rare three seat sofa by Westnofa, Norway c1960′s. Solid teak base and flared armrests, loose cushions. Label detached from underside in transit but is included and can be re attached if desired. Fabric appears to be newer and cushion foam is newer, one cushion fabric runs opposite direction showing color differently, armrests and back foam is deteriorating and the sofa should be re upholstered. Base is structurally solid and shows minor wear from age and use. Estimates: East coast 1-2 weeks, West coast 2-4 weeks. Rarely seen 4 seater Dux Sofa / Couch by Fohlke Ohlsson. We rarely see this Large 4 seater couch. Available and ours has been completely restored in a high performance green tweed. The frame comes in teak, another thing we rarely see in this style as most are made in Beech wood. This sofa is great for any large space, big home or office space. It is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Takes over any room that is sits in. Looks just as good from the back as it does from the front. The original Dux stamping is visible within the teak frame. TRuly an outstanding example of the infamous Fohlke Ohlsson design. Measures: 102.5 W x 34 D x 33 H Seat height: 17 H Condition report: Very good condition. Fabric foam and cushions completely restored inside and out. We work with a professional upholstery team that tore this down to the wood and started from scratch. The teak frame has recently been oiled and looks amazing. All the brass caps on the legs are intact. A few small wood chips to the bottom of the teak legs. Rare “Pasadena” sofa designed by Folke Ohlsson for DUX, Sweden 1960′s. Finely aged solid teak base with a subtle rear pitch, upholstered in a vintage light cream/beige tweed fabric, with loose cushions. Extremely sturdy and solid. Base is great shape and has a nice warm patina. Fabric and foam are vintage but not original and show very little signs of use. The sofa is great looking and comfortable as well. This vintage sofa is by Dux of Sweden. This sofa is all original and in a very vibrant red. The sofa is 86″ wide by 29″ high. The seat height starts at 17 and tapers down for a very unique and comfortable feel. This sofa is very usable as is. The upholstery shows wear and the foam is firm but not crunchy. Restore it or enjoy it as is. The Dux of Sweden is engraved in two area’s under the sofa in the wood from the factory. This is in a smoke free home. Plycon and Uship are two very good options.
