For your consideration, I have for sale this charming old French Style Salon Suite. This listing includes a canape and two matching arm chairs. This lovely old group would make a fine photographic prop for weddings and other special events. This group would also look good for display-only purposes in an old home, boutique or salon or as a theatrical prop and it could be restored to it’s former glory as a special project. The white fabric looks to be faded brocade with a greyish cast, unlike the pictures which look white. Since the fabric has no rips or tears there is the possibility of dyeing it. The finish on the frame shows some signs of wear that is possessed of it’s own antique charm and is sturdy with only a single chip at the top of one chair. The chip could be repaired by placing putty over the other chair top and making a mold then filling it with Durham’s wood putty to reattach. As you can see by the pictures, this old gal has “good bones” and is still photogenic to spite her age!
