This lovely, American five piece parlor set, is American Black walnut featuring a handsome border of marquetry inlay beneath the carved and incised crests and along the bottom seat moldings of all the pieces. The set consists of a three section settee, a large ladies chair, a gents large arm-chair and two side chairs. This set is fresh from a Park Slope Brooklyn brownstone where it was the center piece of a stunning Victorian parlor. All in very fine condition, settee, ladies and gents chairs expensively upholstered in a lovely gold brocade, the two side chairs are upholstered in a matching mohair, all with button tufting and matching gimp. Comfortable and ready for use.
