A beautiful diminutive Empire mahogany recamier with gilt eagle and ebonized claw feet, freshly appointed with satin upholstery all around, including a fitted cylinder pillow. Dating to the 19th century in very good restored condition, with minor imperfections, high point and edge losses, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Beautiful paw foot sofa, it is made of solid mahogany, with Eagle head carvings at each end of the crest rail. Carved scrolling arms lead to carved cornucopias and paw feetpaw feet are on front and back. A quality made sofa its is elegant and rich looking. It is solid and in great age appropriate condition.
