This is simply a fantastic example of renaissance revival victorian furniture from approx 1870 62 inches wide 47 inches tall just stunning! The fabric which almost seems like some sort of silk (not sure what it is) is stunning, could use some cleaning maybe dirty in a couple spots no rips or tears, the frame is well carved simply wonderful work and original surface with great patina just he way you like it and wanna find it!

This is a wonderful set probably made in philadelphia circa 1870, 4 pc walnut with burl walnut inlay, exception carving, the sofa has the ladies heads simply wonderful, its more of a maroon color the fabric is excellent, there is one small repair on the main seating area and one on the back, both are pictured, otherwise the chairs seem to be fine, this set is simply exceptional.

Victorian Empire Slipper Sofa Burl Veneer Pale Green Brocade 28 3/4H x 43 1/2 W. This is an Antique American Empire Slipper Sofa. This little slipper sofa is as cute as a button. The bulk has some wear, but is beautiful, and is in great condition for its age. After all it is around 100 years old. There is also a few places on the veneer where there is some damage. There are people who do this type repair. See pictures for damage. The sofa needs cleaning. Someone did some staining touchup, and it bled onto the fabric. I haven’t tried to clean it up. Worse case , it might have to have new fabric. Cushions are in great condition. It is so unique. I never see these. I go to antique auctions all the time, and have for years. Antique rare model john jelliff burl walnut partner’s desk, one of a kind

For sale a very fine john jelliff, renaissance period burl walnut partner’s desk. I have been collecting 60 years I suppose and this is the only one I have seen in this model, of course I have not seen everything. At any rate, it is a very unique and wonderful desk. Note the jelliff button on the stretcher. Pictures are not good. It is all original, original pulls and original brass casters. It is near mint condition. Construction the very best, joints are hand cut dovetails and several dowel pins used. Very solid and sturdy, no missing or loose parts. It is 30 inches wide, 48 long, and 30 inches tall.
