An antique American Empire sofa in the manner of Anthony Quervelle offers flame mahogany frame with straight crest flanked by caved stylized scrolled foliate reserves over upholstered back, arms and seat with arms having carved urn form supports and raised on turned and tapered carved legs, circa 1830. Overall very good condition, tight and sturdy with fabric tear in front as photographed. Wear consistent with age and use. Measures: 35.25″ H x 90.5″ W x 27.25 D.
